Felice Williams created fantastic geological trail signs in honor of her late husband Mike Williams (geologist and beloved educator), who lead many students on this same hike, now named "Mike's Trail" in his honor.
These signs are located along two parts of this trail: 1. The Opal Loop and 2. Devils Canyon. Below are pdf files you can download to see the graphics for each sign. The first pdf shows a map of the location of the trail and the points of interest where the sign are located (by number).
You can also view these signs in their intended geological context by taking the hike!
